Forest seems so far amusing

Moving ‘round in circles Looking for the river
Climbing my way up Into the forest canopy

Winding pathways constant shifting
Dragon’s breath is always listening… look

Losing my sense of direction


Moments from collapsing Predators surround me
Eyes locked through saliva Dripping from their shining teeth
Scared and no way out Surrender to the forest
As I close my eyes The dragon’s breath, it covers me

Beating hearts out in the meadow
Tails tuck away before the shadow

Rivers, always so elusive
Smiling feral, so inclusive

Days turn into weeks while Trapped inside the woods now
Slowly losing sight of Where I want to wannabe
Countless moonlit nights of Dancing with the snakes and
